| 21st Annual Cape & Islands Orchid Show
January 23-24, 2010
The 2010 CAIOS Show! - What a grand time we had at the show. In a bright, roomy hall, free of icy blasts from Buzzards Bay, the flowers were never better.
|
About 3000 folks came and ogled the incredible variety of orchids, from the micro flowers of Dendrochilum tenellum to giant pure white Catt.Bob Betts, the variety was astounding. All sharers loved the 40 foot ceilings, the easy loading doors, the helpful staff and each others joy in staging a great event. Next Year, keep tuned. The Society thanks all who helped haul stuff, primp plants, feed folks, computerize plants, aim lamps, sell raffles, man the gates, give tours, floralize docks and do all the minutiae for a successful show. Kudos to Show Chair Tina and all her minions!
Liz & Jo say it so well:
“Our display this year was very beautiful and we were rewarded with some wonderful awards. We would like to thank everyone who brought their beautiful orchids for us to work with without which there would be no CAIOS display.
